What is TyroCharm?

Tyrocharm is delightful attempt to engage in a new pursuit. It isn’t exclusive to writing. It can refer to anything that a novice tries for the first time with the intention of building a skill. It implies that this attempt is pleasing to observe or be part of. It also implies that the amateur who initiates this endeavor, is making an attempt to be likable.

Boy! The Daily Prompt really made the gears in my head turn and churn and break a sweat. This was a titan of an assignment.

At first I was stunned by the weight of its implications. Not many people have an opportunity to clearly define what their legacy will be. Most great adjectives like Kafkaesque, Marxist, Orwellian and sadistic were applied to a historic figure after a lifetime’s work.

After the initial shock of impending failure at today’s challenge, I turned to my trusted Merriam-Webster Dictionary and there you go.

I didn’t have to do anything at all. Combine two definitions; add a little sparkle and its all done. Phew! . . . You had me going there for a moment.
